Description
In collaboration with the Yakima County Anchor Community Initiative (ACI) Core Team and A Way Home Washington, ESD 105, will be hosting a training session for McKinney Vento Staff who provide support to students experiencing homelessness. This training aims to enhance the skills and resources available to McKinney Vento Liaisons and McKinney Vento Support Staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to support students facing homelessness effectively in Yakima County. The ACI Team consists of community partners such as Yakima County, Rod's House, CAMP Hope, Catholic Charities, Yakima Neighborhood Health, People for People, OIC of WA, and more, who are actively working with youth at risk of homeless or are experiencing Homelessness. This training aims at providing contacts from our community partners and programs in the Yakima County for youth such as accessing Youth Diversion Infrastructure Project (YDIP) and Homelessness Prevention and Diversion Fund (HPDF) funding.
