Transition your teaching strategies to engage all students in a distance learning model. The Washington Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD) is proud to partner with international education consultant Jeff Utecht to offer educators 8 virtual sessions, beginning the week of June 1st through the week of June 22nd.
We strongly believe in supporting educators throughout these uncertain times, as well as into the next school year. These trainings will support teachers as they work to meet OSPI’s recent directive to “Build on each student’s strengths, interests and needs and use this knowledge to positively impact learning.”
The 8 virtual meeting sessions will focus on a phased-in approach to distance learning:
- Phase 1: Setting Up Your System
- Phase 2: Preparing for Learning
- Phase 3: New Learning Begins
Each session will consist of a one-hour presentation via Zoom, time for educators to ask questions for support, and actionable steps that educators can take to continue to build their distance learning system. Each action step aligns with OSPI’s priorities for administrators: Compassion, Communication and Common Sense.
Cost:
Register for 8 sessions at $200/person.
