Description

What is Student Centered Learning and how might mixed modes of instruction provide opportunities for educators to accelerate it? This synchronous professional learning opportunity includes three 1.5 hour sessions that will support school leaders, instructional coaches and teachers in providing personalized instruction and access to rigor for all students during distance learning. Some of the topics covered include:

  • Asset-Based Instruction

  • The 6 Cueing Systems as a foundation for personalized teaching 

  • Comprehensible input and processing strategies in a distance learning environment

  • Assessing student progress in literacy, language and content


Participants have the opportunity to earn 4.5 clock hours through this course.
