This course will be a monthly discussion of chapters in the book “Comprehension and Collaboration: Inquiry Circles for Curiosity, Engagement and Understanding. Teachers will meet after school one afternoon a month and discuss two chapters of the book. This book supports our school initiative to implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Model, which requires inquiry-based instruction in every classroom. It give practical ideas for integrating reading comprehension strategies into various types of inquiry learning.
