This class is designed for teachers of grades 3-8 who are looking for ways to improve student writing.  It can be viewed as an Introduction to Step Up to Writing or as a refresher for those who have used it in the past. It will address all steps of the writing process, allowing teachers to focus on areas where their students struggle the most.  We will explore the basic premises of “Step Up to Writing” with a particular focus on how it aligns to the CCSS writing standards.
