Focus on the experience of girls in STEM settings through data, research and personal experiences of educators. Discuss strategies for building spaces and activities that attract and retain girls in STEM programming.

Discuss strategies for building spaces and activities that attract and retain girls in STEM programming.

Practice a hands on STEM activity while using these strategies and reflect on effective techniques for engaging girls; discuss the effectiveness of the activity when viewed through a gender inclusivity lens.

This is a great workshop for providers with some STEM facilitation experience (or those managing/coaching/supervising those providers) who have direct access to co-ed STEM programs.
