Description
Zoom is a virtual meeting tool that is available to Washington administrators and teachers at no cost. This tool makes it convenient to meet with others across the miles, reduces travel expenses, and opens the door to new learning experiences.
This workshop is designed especially for staff who will be supporting Zoom in their district or any other user of Zoom. Attendees will learn to set up their Zoom Pro account and prepare for a virtual meeting. In addition, they will learn to use Zoom’s basic features and controls to host and manage a meeting and record their meetings.
Attendees will use lab computers and ESD 112’s Zoom Pro training licenses during the workshop, and will learn to request their own Zoom Pro licenses from their district’s Zoom administrator. Attendees will receive a binder full of illustrated tutorials for using Zoom.
Event Notes
Attendees should feel free to bring laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and/or smart phones for exploration during the workshop. Please arrive 15 minutes early to connect your devices to the wireless network. Bring a sweater. Lunch is provided.
