Description
Instructor: Doug Ferguson, Washington STEM Teacher of the Month for the month of May!
Due to the generous support of FIRST Washington, we are able to offer this class at a fantastic price! They will be providing the facility, computers, robot kits, and licenses for your class! You just need to bring a personal computing device or preferred method of taking notes, patience for non-techies in the class, and a willingness to work through frustrations.
This workshop is a basic introduction to using the LEGO EV3 Robotics Kits at the elementary (3-6) level but is open to all K-12 teachers. Course assumes no prior experience. Primary resource will be OSPI’s STEM Robotics 101 resource for EV3 by Randy Steele.
This course will qualify for 12 WA STEM clock hours for $24.
Target Audience: Elementary Teachers grades 3-6. Teachers K-12 are welcome but the focus will be on the upper elementary level.
