You're invited to a discussion on "What's Important in Mathematics Today?" This session will be presented by James Burnett, the President and Co-founder of ORIGO Education. You will learn about the rationale for expanding the focus of classroom mathematics to include the thinking skills that students need to effectively engage in today and tomorrow's society. Additionally, participants will discover how to stimulate thinking and reasoning skills by first building a foundation of conceptual understanding. Lunch will be provided.
