Description
Make the shift to Google Docs and create, edit, and collaborate anytime, anywhere. Participants will learn the basic editing and formatting features of Google Docs, how to convert Word files to Google, and how to manage sharing and collaboration with colleagues, students, and the public. Use translation and speech-to-text features and access pre-made templates to save time. Learn to use the commenting and suggesting modes for student feedback.

An ongoing workshop series focused on essential features and classroom applications for the Google Suite.
The G-Suite Essentials Series meets on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 PM at the Knox Administrative Center. Workshops are geared towards new and intermediate level users of the Google Suite for Education. Each session is offered as a stand-alone class, but the series is designed to provide deeper understanding of the integrated Google suite. Workshops are led by the instructional tech coaches. |
Sessions are eligible for compensation through Tech PD or Self-Directed SD. Clock hours will be offered under the blanket Tech PD course at the end of the school year. Please register in advance. Please bring your fully charged laptop loaded with Chrome browser.
