Description

Encountering people that are resistant to change in mathematics teaching is a common challenge for many educational leaders and it is easy to slip into an unproductive "us versus them" frame of mind. In this session, we will look at the root causes of resistance and explore productive strategies that will help leaders and coaches support all teachers, parents, and/or students through the change process. Participants will leave with practical ideas they can implement right away in their professional settings and have access to a wide array of resources to support their work.
