The Art and Science of Learning Targets
Sat, February 2 2019 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Administered by ESD 112
Presenters
- JoAnne Morrow
Description
This training will model effective teaching practices as participants actively interact in depth with current research regarding the writing and the use of learning targets to guide student learning. Analysis of learning target construction and the implementation of learning targets throughout a lesson will provide support for beginning teachers (also veteran educators), so that all students are empowered to engage in their learning. Online observation of teachers across the grade spectrum modeling learning target implementation will guide some of the discussion.

Participants should bring a laptop or Chromebook if available.
