In an effort to support kindergarten teachers with next year's WA KIDS assessment, participants will collaborate on determining activities and opportunities where teachers can assess the different WA KIDS objectives. Participants will identify objectives that are more challenging to assess and we will look at resources and ideas to support assessing those objectives. Kindergarten teachers will share ideas and consider ways in which the WA KIDS data can be used to focus intervention for children who show gaps in developmental skills or children who can benefit from enrichment. We will spend time exploring various methods for collecting the evidence – both digitally and with paper/pencil.
