Description
This event is for sixth grade teachers interested in learning about the a new and innovative approach to teaching to the Next Generation Science Standards/ Washington State Science Learning Standards. Teachers will experience science teaching and learning through engagement with a Thermal Energy Unit. The unit utilizes a science storyline approach to engage students in explaining a complex and puzzling phenomena related to thermal energy transfer and design the perfect insulated cup.
