Description
The Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children training will focus on protecting children from sexual abuse. Learn how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. We want you to become confident and competent, knowing how to prevent sexual abuse and react skillfully if it occurs. This 3-hour workshop will include video-based training and a mandatory reporting component. Workbooks will be provided
This course meets the Issues of Abuse requirements for candidates who are applying for a continuing certificate after August 31, 1992 (WAC 180-79A-030).
