Description

This day-long workshop is for teachers and other adult mentors who wish to prepare a team of students for NASA's Apollo Next Giant Leap Student (ANGLeS) Challenge.  This nation-wide team-based challenge for 5th - 12th graders involves learning to pilot a drone, program a Lego Mindstorm, and work together on a team to achieve an ambitious, complex goal.

After the workshop, student teams have until May to prepare for the challenge and demonstrate readiness to compete in the Regional Hub in Seattle.  Two teams from our region will compete in Seattle for the ultimate prize--a free trip to NASA.

More information about the challenge is available here: https://nwessp.org/apollo50/
