Description

Join us for our 9th Grade Success Workshop:

Research shows that 9th grade is a critical year in a student's pathway towards graduation and postsecondary access. In fact, researchers consider it a "make or break" year in the lives of our students. Participants will prepare to mobilize their school community to proactively implement promising strategies from 8th - 10th grade to ensure that each and every student is on track to graduate. School staff (both middle and high school), school and district administrators, Community Organizations, counselors, Early Warning Teams, and community members are encouraged to attend. Specifically, participants will leave with a plan of action that incorporates promising practices around Early Warning Implementation, increasing student engagement, eliminating course failure, and family engagement.

Materials, lunch and refreshments will be provided
