WaKIDS 101 offers teachers new to kindergarten an overview of the Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WaKIDS).  In this training, teachers will explore the purpose, structure, and content of WaKIDS to ensure a successful start to the K-12 experience and connect the key adults in a child’s life. Teachers will leave with a deepened understanding of the family connection, whole-child assessment and early learning collaboration components of WaKIDS.  Additionally, teachers will obtain the Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) Certification. 

This is a two-day training, with one day in person and one day online.
