This initial session will focus on introducing and working thru the preliminary steps required to begin preparing data for September Payroll. September payroll processing is an "umbrella" term that includes the following activities:  Processing the final payroll of the Fiscal Year, Preparing Payroll Data for the New Fiscal Year, Entering Data Used for Payroll Processing, Processing the First Payroll of the New Fiscal Year, and Closing the Fiscal Year in the Payroll module. This class will be held in the new format, where we will be facilitating discussion based on the "what" we are doing in each step and "why." The remainder of class time will be used as an open lab primarily for September payroll related work.
