This class is designed to increase understanding of explicit vocabulary instruction through the use of Marzano's Six Steps. It is a follow-up to a general vocabulary class offered earlier in the year, but attendance at the first class is not necessary for participation in this class. Participants will learn the six steps involved in vocabulary instruction and will have time to develop lessons. Target audience is teachers of grades 5-8.
