New teachers can participate in a series of professional development events. Professional development opportunities will include training on instructional frameworks, classroom management, engagement strategies, assessment and the Common Core State Standards. There will be a combination of online and face-to-face learning opportunities. Clock hours will be offered and courses will be fee based.

Mentors are required to participate in an OSPI Mentor Academy or Mentor Skills Tune-up. Mentors attend regional Mentor Roundtables and are paid to attend three roundtables for a total of 6 hours at curriculum rate. 

Participants not in our clock hour co-op will need to pay for clock hours. Please come prepared to pay for clock hours. Clock hours are $2 per clock hour. Participants will need to choose three Mentor Roundtables to attend.
