Professional Learning Community (EI-PLC) provides FRCs and early intervention service providers with an ongoing process to share new learning and experiences. The 2016-17 PLC Topics cover the early intervention process from the referral to the Local Lead Agency to the child’s 3rd Birthday. Early Intervention Professional Learning Community (EI-PLC) Topic 2 covers the development of the IFSP including summarizing the child’s functioning in the 3 global early child outcome areas, completing the Child Outcomes Summary (COS), writing functional IFSP outcomes and planning for early intervention services in the natural environment. In addition to facilitated discussion and activities, participants will also receive information and resources to support key competencies for FRCs and EI service providers.
