Description

“Creating a Culture Where All Students Thrive” is a continuation of the professional learning built upon over the last two years.  In 2014-2015 we began with “Building Leadership Capacity ” followed by “Transforming School Culture” in 2015-2016.  This year we are proud to bring back Dr. Cruz once again to inspire and inform!

Does your school have a collective mindset that all students really can thrive?   Do you have a plan and more importantly the tools in place to act on this as a staff?  “Creating a Culture Where All Students Thrive” empowers school leadership teams to effectively work toward developing a culture where staff is committed to ensuring that everyone inside the school is valued.  As a leadership team participants will build a plan that they can take back to their school and immediately implement.  Following this six-session professional learning schools will genuinely and visibly work toward changing their culture.

In this workshop  teacher and administrative teams will learn to:

  • Implement Dr. Anthony Muhammad's research on school culture to both “re-culture and re-structure” a school for the betterment of all students.
  • Develop the collective ability of a leadership team to work with staff to effectively ensure all students learn.
  • Meet the learning needs of diverse student populations such as English Language Learners.
