In this two-day course, teachers will study all of the components of Ratios and Proportional Relationships for Grade Band 6-8. Participants will be able to make connections between the required domain learning targets and their own understanding and instruction. Working on their own or in grade level teams, participants will build math learning stations, menu and activities, using other available resources such as First Steps along with provided supplemental materials. At the end of the two-day course, participants will leave with a model of classroom routines, stations, and menu of activities that will address their grade level domain and deepen their students understanding.
