This workshop will focus on GLAD strategies that specifically relate to mathematics instruction. Participants will learn new ways to incorporate GLAD reading and writing strategies to teach mathematics. Special emphasis will be placed on teaching academic vocabulary, problem solving in groups, and classroom use of presentations. All activities are designed to keep the focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking mathematics through the lens of GLAD!
