Description

Come to North Central ESD on Monday, January 23rd from 10:30-12pm to learn how TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) helps high schools build and grow sustainable computer science (CS) programs by pairing trained volunteer computer science professionals with classroom teachers. Teachers from various content backgrounds work in partnership with TEALS volunteers and learn the CS curriculum by team-teaching in their own classrooms. Come to hear from a panel of current TEALS partner teachers in North Central WA about their experiences with TEALS. Lunch will be provided!  And your sub will be paid by NCESD!

The application for schools to partner with TEALS in the 2017-18 school year is open between now and February. You can also learn a lot more about the details of the program and find the school application here.

Feel free to contact TEALS Regional Manager Joe Smith for additional information at joe@tealsk12.org.
