Take Thinking Deeper with Digital-Age Project-Based Learning

Take Thinking Deeper with Digital-Age Project-Based Learning

Mon, April 17 2017 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Administered by PSESD

Description

In this full-day workshop, participants will build their understanding of project-based learning as a strategy to deepen engagement and understanding for all learners. Collaborative, hands-on activities will give participants the opportunity to experience effective PBL practices firsthand, including the use of digital tools to support inquiry and facilitate project management. Participants can expect to come away with a framework for effective project planning and a toolkit of resources to support them and their students as they plan, implement, and assess deeper learning experiences. Examples will help them imagine how PBL can help to close the opportunity gap and put all learners on a path to success.

This class will be a hands-on learning environment. Please bring your own laptops, as well as cameras or recording devices so you can document ideas. Dress comfortably!
