Shape the Future: Digital Information Literacy - Online Course - 

During this course, you'll learn more about digital information literacy, as well as refine your skills in searching techniques, evaluating resources for credibility and accuracy, and referencing online resources. You'll be sharing what you learn and create with others, and you can enhance your understanding by drawing from their feedback and shared resources. This is a collaborative course! It's also expected that you will extend what you learn to students in your classrooms, so they also build their digital information literacy skills.

The course is arranged in six modules. You'll use readings, discussions, reflections and projects. For each module, you will have specific assignments to be completed early in the week. You are encouraged to check in daily to glean insights from other posts, contribute your thoughts by responding to other's comments and generally network with participants during the course.

By the end of this course, you should be more knowledgeable about digital information literacy, confident in your ability to utilize a wider network of professionals to help you maximize your time with students, and be comfortable with an online learning system.
