Problems to supplement current Geometry materials will be presented to teachers at each session. Focus will be on content standards that are not addressed in current materials which also give students the opportunity to engage in the Standards for Mathematical Practice and connecting Geometry ideas to mathematics learned in previous courses which will be assessed on SBAC. Presenter will model instructional strategies to help teachers experience and observe changes in instructional practice that deep student learning. Problems will relate directly to the content in the upcoming unit(s).

Professional Development for Geometry teachers. Sessions will be 3:00-5:30 at Knox Room 301 Focus on instructional strategies, assessment, connecting mathematical learning while using MVP modules to teach Common Core Geometry.
