The Full Day Kindergarten Train the Trainer session will provide participants an opportunity to delve into and review the  full-day kindergarten modules that have been developed for our state.  Eva Phillips, national kindergarten consultant, and Janet Collier, former Full-Day Kindergarten PD Coordinator, worked through a joint effort between AESD and OSPI on a project funded by the Gates Foundation to develop professional development modules for kindergarten teachers.  The three modules are Child Development, the Learning Environment, and Learning Centers. 

During the Train the Trainer session participants will look in-depth at the modules' learning outcomes, agenda, and materials.  Each attendee will walk away with a training manual and access to the electronic files needed to provide a training in your district.
