Professional Development for English and Language Arts teachers in the OSD.

This is an optional Wonders training for fourth grade teachers. Both trainings will be held at Knox. Session 1 The purpose of this training intends to provide fourth grade teachers with an opportunity to examine the implementation of small group instruction, formative uses of mid-Unit and End-of-Unit assessments, and explore the resources for analytical writing, including anchor papers. Session 2 The training in January builds upon the November session by studying classroom examples of writing and the Unit assessment. Additionally, the January session includes a brief introduction to collaborative conversations. You may attend either or both sessions. However, credit for clock hours requires attendance at both sessions.
