In this year-long experience, we examine what we know about students in secondary mathematics and how they learn through worthwhile mathematical tasks. We will engage in rich mathematical task, explore the mathematical thinking behind them, and reflect on the affect they have in your classroom as your students experience them. This class will provide resources that can be easily replicated and/or modified for use in the classroom to further develop students’ understanding of each concept.

This class is a hybird class which incorporates in-person and online sessions for check-ins. The following dates are reserved for online check ins:

December 13, 2017 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

February 21, 2018 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

April 25, 2018 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
