Imagine connecting your students to experts around the country or collaborating with a colleague from the comfort of your home.  You can hold video meetings, virtual training classes, remote interviews, and more with Hangouts Meet.  With the Meet app that is part of the G-Suite for Education, OSD staff can hold video meetings for up to 30 people.  Learn how to start a Meet from Gmail, Calendar, or the Meet app.  You can schedule Meets ahead of time and even record the proceedings using YouTube Live.  Through supported practice, we will learn how to use the tools, manage the participants, and choose the most flattering angle for you.  Bring your fully charged laptop or Chromebook and headphones/earbuds with a built-in microphone.

The G-Suite Essentials Series meets on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 PM at the Knox Administrative Center.  Workshops are geared towards new and intermediate level users of the Google Suite for Education.  Each session is offered as a stand-alone class, but the series is designed to provide of the integrated Google suite. Workshops are led by the instructional tech coaches.

Sessions are eligible for compensation through Tech PD or Self-Directed SD.  Clock hours will be offered under the blanket Tech PD course at the end of the school year.  Please register in advance. Bring your fully charged laptop loaded with Chrome browser.
