This cohort will read the book American Girls: Social Media and the Secret Lives of Teenagers by Nancy Jo Sales. The book focuses on digital media and the effect it has on teenage girls. Participants will read the text and participate in group discussions. The information gained and discussed will help OHS staff become more aware of the issues presented and ways to address them. 


Staff will meet 2:45-4:15 in the OHS Library: 

1/22/18 - First meeting to discuss pp. 1-181, chapters 1-3 (1.5 hours) - second set of essential questions given

2/26/18 - Second meeting to discuss pp. 182-375, chapters 4-7 and conclusion (1.5 hours)
