Description

Session 1 (April 23, 2018) of the training: The purpose of this training is to allow teachers to look at student writing samples from the Write to Sources lessons of Wonders.  Teachers are asked to bring actual copies of class sets of student written responses to examine individually and with their colleagues.  Participants will have time to reflect on their own practice and make plans for future writing instruction.

Session 2 (May 14, 2018) will  review small group instruction, writing to sources, and close reading.  Teachers will have time to reflect individually and with colleagues on what went well in their ELA instruction and why it went well and plan next steps.
