Description
- Participants will reply weekly to each section and guiding prompts.
- Participants will reflect on their practice though the lens of providing comprehensible input for their EL students.
- The book and our online discussion will offer lots of strategies that can be applied across all content areas and elicit high order thinking skills, while also supporting EL’s in the 4 language domains – Reading, writing, speaking and listening
- Teachers will start the course by examining individual student rosters of EL students and their proficiency levels. This will help keep the focus of discussions and prompts focused on current ELs being served.
- Participants will read, learn new skills, and set goals to improve their practice.
