Presenter:  Dr. Nancy Hertzog, Director of UW’s Robinson Center for Young Scholars, and co-author of WA State Online Professional Learning Modules for Highly Capable.  

This will be a TWO-PART, Hands-on workshop where participants will read, discuss, plan and write lessons that integrate inquiry-based instruction into their units of study.

The presenter will introduce the Project Approach:  three phases that flips units into project investigations and encourages students to take ownership in the learning process.

Students gain autonomy and investment into their mastery of content.
