Connections, compassion, empathy, and acceptance is what quality education is all about. During this workshop educators will actively participate in learning about how their own experiences and social groups shapes their perceptions and how this impacts their classroom. We will be focusing on how to become more culturally responsive, and understanding where our neighbors are coming from. We will explore how to increase inclusion and acceptance for special education students, cultural responsiveness, working with students in trauma, and how to support all students within our buildings and our individual classrooms. Join us to examine ourselves to help us better support All students.
