This training is intended for new teachers to the Olympia School District and teachers who are new to teaching the Wonders ELA curriculum.  The morning portion of the training will cover Wonders basics which include:  the format of the teacher's guide, Start Smart, key texts that are a part of Wonders, leveled readers, small differentiated groups, assessments (formal and informal), and writing.  Wonders technology will be covered in  the afternoon.  We will explore the Wonders Home Page, digital resources, the weekly planner and the Data Dashboard.

Please bring your Wonders Unit 1 Teacher's Edition (hard copy).  Also, please bring a fully charged laptop.

The training will be held September 23rd at Knox from 8:30-3:30 with a one hour lunch on your own.  Please make your own arrangements for a substitute teacher for this day.  

This is a make-up training for teachers who were not able to attend  the August 23rd training.
