Description
This workshop will ask Avanti staff to analyze frameworks for understanding and addressing intergenerational poverty with the intention of providing them with tangible intervention strategies that will improve student outcomes. Staff will learn concrete instructional strategies to help students from poverty; understand hidden rules of economic class and effects on behaviors and mindsets; and develop stronger relationships with students to impact behavior and outcomes.
