Our PSESD Presenter:  Annie Hetzel, School Nurse Corps Nurse Administrator


About the Training:  Trauma, depression, and suicidal ideation are troubling yet real concerns for too many students and their families.  Learn what you can do, in whatever role you currently have, to recognize signs and symptoms, create strategies to intervene early and effectively, and to create support systems within the school climate to increase physical, social and emotional safety and support within the academic community.


Audience:    This training will benefit anyone working in the field of education.


Important Note:  This course meets the Washington State requirement that school counselors, psychologists, social workers, and nurses complete a training program in youth suicide screening and referral as a condition of certification. For more information about this requirement, please click the following URL address:

Clock Hours:  3 clock hours will be available for an additional charge of $15. Checks or credit card payments accepted (no cash or American Express please).


Registration Fee:  $85 per person.  Includes workshop, materials and beverage service.
