In this 8-week online course, participants will read Ambitious Science Teaching by Mark Windschitl, Jessica Thompson, and Melissa Braaten to learn about changing classroom discourse, anchoring instructional units in puzzling phenomena, and engaging students in scientific practices such as modeling, evidence-based explanation, or augmentation this is the source. Participants will see how to make classroom more relevant and equitable for all learners while upping the rigor.
