Description

This online course/book study was created to:

1) allow for deeper reflection and discussion around the important topic of childhood trauma.

2) explore ways to continue creating a culture of safety in our classrooms and schools

3) build understanding around the four areas of need (emotional, relational, physical and control) and how to meet these needs with interventions framed around the “three R’s”

3) provide meaning for creating trauma-invested learning practices

Successful completion of the course will allow participants to earn 9.5 clock hours.

Course text will be purchased by Manson School District and utilized on loan by book study participants.
