Elementary school is the ideal time for students to be introduced to computer science. Designed to be fun and engaging, Computer Science Fundamentals blend online and "unplugged" (offline) activities to teach K-5 students computer science concepts and digital citizenship. Students create their own games, art, and digital stories that they can share with their peers – all while developing essential soft skills like communication, collaboration, and persistence. 

In this free, virtual workshop, you will be introduced to Code.org’s equitable, open-source curriculum, get hands-on with lesson activities and the online dashboard, and learn more about computational thinking from local experts.
