Imagine connecting your students to experts around the country or collaborating with a colleague from the comfort of your home.  You can hold video meetings, virtual training classes, remote interviews, and more.  Learn how to start a Hangout from Gmail, Calendar, YouTube or the Hangouts app.  We will learn how to use the tools, manage the participants, and choose the most flattering angle for you.  Bring your fully charged laptop or Chromebook and headphones/earbuds with a built-in microphone.

An ongoing workshop series focused on essential features and classroom applications for GAFE ENGAGE IN PROFESSIONAL GROWTH INCREASE EFFICIENCY & SAVE TIME FACILITATE & INSPIRE STUDENT LEARNING & CREATIVITY The Google Essentials Series meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month at Knox, 4:00-5:00 PM. Workshops are geared towards new and intermediate level users of GAFE. Each session is offered as a stand-alone class, but the series is designed to provide deeper understanding of the integrated Google suite. Sessions are eligible for compensation through Tech PD or Self-Directed SD. Clock hours will be offered under the blanket Tech PD course at the end of the school year. All sessions will be held in Knox 308 Computer Lab.
