Description

THIS SESSION IS FULL as is the WAITLIST.  We apologize that no further registrations can be taken at this time.

What is the connection between climate change and wildfires? Are smokey summers our new norm? How will the changing climate specifically impact Eastern Washington communities in the near future? Washington Green Schools and Northeast Washington Educational Service District are convening scientists and educators VIRTUALLY to investigate climate science topics, make connections to local climate-related phenomena like the impact of fires on air quality, and identify Next Generation Science Standards learning opportunities for K-12 students.

Event Notes

Registered participants will need a laptop/computer with a camera and sound. Upon completion of both ZOOM calls (4/16 and 4/17 from 10 a.m.-noon), participants will receive 4 STEM Clock Hours.
