This year-long series will provide a learning cohort and community for teachers in the first few years of their career along with their mentors. As we work together through the year we will cover such things as formative assessment, time management, balance, and student engagement. Mentors will be provided guiding questions and conversation starters to use with their mentees. Teachers will be provided copies of "The First Years Matter: Becoming an Effective Teacher". Mentors will receive a copy of "Mentoring in Action." This will be a hybrid course with both synchronous and asynchronous options. All materials will be available through the Canvas platform.
