Join us for an evening of fun in exploring the Pebbles, Sand, and Silt kit which is now supported by our new 2^nd  grade NGSS storyline unit titled "Inspired by Nature." Learn how to use your kit materials to engage students in the driving question: "How can we design a solution to prevent Washington’s coast from eroding?" The training will prepare teachers to implement NGSS-aligned instruction that uses integrated practices (ex. use of a variety of texts/media and high leverage instructional routines) to promote science literacy for all students.Teachers will learn about new materials and activities added in the kit in addition to learning how to use the FOSS materials that accompany the kit to provide students with an instruction that is authentic and engaging.
