This class is designed to provide participants with a background in the effective use of questioning strategies in their classrooms.  The goal is to promote student engagement through higher level thinking activities which require the participation of all students.  Participants will also learn strategies for designing effective text dependent questions. For teachers of grades 3-10. Participants should bring texts they are currently using to use in developing text dependent questions.
