Description

Computational thinking is the process of decomposing a problem into a form that can be implemented on a computer. This course will lead the student through this process using a sample problem. Along the way we will discuss how data is represented inside a computer and the syntactic elements of computer languages.

This course assumes only that you have used a computer and some common programs such as Word or Excel. It does not require any programming background. It is intended as an introduction to computational thinking from which you can continue to learn on your own.
